Hyacinth Bridgerton adalah yang paling cerewet dan ceplas-ceplos di antara ketujuh saudaranya. Walaupun dia anak bungsu, semua kakaknya nggak ada yang berani padanya karena dia sangat kepo dan paling tahu kalau ada rahasia. Aku sudah membayangkan kalau cerita Hyacinth akan sangat menarik dan lucu, dan ternyata memang benar.

Karena sifatnya yang ceplas-ceplos, kepo, dan nggak bisa diam, Hyacinth mengalami kesulitan mendapatkan jodoh. Apalagi karena ia dekat dengan Lady Danbury yang terkenal nyelekit dan ditakuti oleh para bangsawan. Tapi kemudian ia bertemu dengan Gareth St. Clair, cucu Lady Danbury di acara musikal Smythe-Smith. Dan sepertinya Hyacinth mendapatkan lawan yang setimpal, karena Gareth tidak mundur menghadapinya, tapi malah menantangnya terus.

Gareth St. Clair dibenci ayahnya walaupun ia adalah pewaris. Karena itulah ia mencari perlindungan dari Lady Danbury dan tinggal bersamanya. Tapi sebetulnya Gareth mempunyai warisan dari neneknya yang dituliskan dalam buku harian. Tapi isinya berbahasa Italia. Beruntungnya, Hyacinth bisa berbahasa Italia, dan menawarkan (atau lebih tepatnya setengah memaksakan) bantuan.

Kisah romannya ditaburkan di tengah-tengah petualangan pencarian harta karun. Bagi Hyacinth, hal ini sangat mengasyikkan, tapi Hyacinth jadi ceroboh karena nggak mempedulikan bahaya. Gareth kesannya normal, tapi menghadapi Hyacinth ia cukup sabar. Gemas melihat tingkah Hyacinth.

Hot scene-nya untung ngga terlalu banyak, jadi nggak kepanasan. Hehehee...
